Who can join ModelFactory?

For Talent

We welcome people of every age, ethnicity, location and experience level, from those who are starting out, right through to pro’s who are already working in the entertainment industry.

You simply register online, and create a profile that showcases you, your interests, skills and experience. Our members apply directly to jobs and auditions that interest them.

Minors’ profiles are all managed by a parent or guardian and they cannot create memberships without an adults permission.

You can register your interest in the following categories: Actor, Extra, Model, Musician, Photographer, Dancer, Reality TV, Survival Jobs, Film and Stage Crew or Hair/Make-up/Stylist.

For Past Experience

You don’t need to audition or have a set number of credits to be accepted. ModelFactory is a great place to build up your experience, or to continue to develop your CV if you’re already working in the industry.

Portfolios

You don’t need a professional headshot, but you do need a photo of yourself to be considered for work. A nice clear picture of your face taken with a smartphone is fine to get started. Read our Headshot Advice, and check out our blog for lots of great tips about how to improve your profile when you’re ready.

Agents are Not Allowed

It’s fine if you don’t have an agent (we regularly have agents scouting for fresh faces on our site) and it’s also fine if you do have representation – there is a spot on your profile to add your agents details if you’d like.

ModelFactory is not set up for your agent to apply for roles on your behalf, but you can choose to let your agent know if you’ve been contacted directly about a job via ModelFactory.

Experienced talent

We have a wide range of experienced talent on site, and plenty of Casting Professionals keen to connect with them. Our most active and professional talent can earn our ModelFactoryPro status.

Do you have any rules?

While we welcome everyone to our site, we do have a set of community guidelines that lay out how we expect our community to behave.

Our number one value is ‘our members’ safety and success is our success’ and this is our top priority. You can check out our Trust & Safety guides for more information about how to stay safe online. We also have a dedicated team working seven days a week to check every casting call on site to ensure it’s suitable.

You can also check our terms and conditions for details on who may not join our community; for example those who have been convicted of a serious crime.

For Casting Professionals

Anyone looking to audition or book talent for work is welcome to sign up as a Casting Professional on our website.

You simply register online, or place a free casting call.

While we welcome everyone to our site, we do have a set of community guidelines that lay out how we expect our community to behave.

We recommend reading these and checking out the information around the kind of work you can list on ModelFactory. We don’t accept every casting (for instance we don’t place casting calls for the adult industry) and we do reserve the right to ask for more information about a project before approving a listing to appear on site.
